Hello and thanks for looking.
I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
I never ship records inside the picture covers!
All records are sent out in PVC covers.
THE BEATLES.
LET IT BE UK 1970 BOX SET.
ALL ORIGINAL PARTS.
This is not a perfect example hence the price but it is all original, please see below for grading and the 12 pictures above.
The Condition.
The Outside Box / G (Good) / The box has a bad crease that runs across the top, you can see this in the above pictures. The lamination is still glossy with a few creases. Graded G condition this is not for a fussy buyer. The box has flattened a bit from storage over the years.
The Outside Tray / G+ (Good+) / Some creasing + scuffs to the edges with 1 bigger scuff. Not too bad!
The Inner tray / G (Good) / By miracle it is still in one piece! This is flattened but at least we still have it. This part can normally be missing.
The LP Cover / VG++ / This is a decent example with red apple on the back. The cover has some storage wear and a couple of creases.
The LP / VG / The LP has some light surface marks under halogen bulb. The record still plays well. The record has clean labels, side 1 is the dark green type.
The matrix numbers are YEX 773-3U / YEX 774-3U.
So not a 2U disc but this is what came with the box in 1970, this is not uncommon btw. The LP is housed it a patent white inner cover.
The Book / Good- / This has plastic added to the front so some old tape stain are inside as seen in the pictures above. No pages are missing. The front has a crease that runs down the middle. The lamination to the cover is still glossy but has storage wear and some other smaller creases as this is graded G-.
Whoever buys this I would not recommend leaving the book inside the box, it is best to store them separately as I do with my own example.
