The BEATLES

Love Me Do / PS I Love You

UK 1963 R 4949

A genuine first pressing:

This is the very first black label variation after Parlophone changed from the red label design.

There is no "Sold In U.K." text on label centres. Matrix nos have -1N suffix (Ringo on drums). Stampers are MPZT 1 RT and MPZT 1 RP. Raised KT Tax Code on B-side centre.

These features indicate a record pressed in 1963.

In its original sleeve (Excellent condition).

Condition:

The disc retains a nice shine on both sides and although both sides bear superficial handling marks, there is nothing deep. The labels are clean, no writing or damage. Spindle trailing evident around the centre hole.

Uninterrupted audio. There is crackle and some loss of sound quality but still a good player

Grades Very Good
