Description
Just recently I bought a massive collection of 60's and 70's LPs...some are in surprisingly immaculate condition, and some are not, but the original owner (a well-respected Australian vinyl hoarder) was a fastidious collector of the styles he loved - 60's punk/garage, British invasion well-knowns [Beatles/Hollies/Dave Clark 5/Gerry & The Pacemakers/Zombies/Troggs/etc..], 70's West Coast sounds, pop-psych and he'd obviously forraged far and wide since there's a flurry of unique South American, New Zealand,Taiwanese, South African, Japanese releases amongst them all.
Here then, is one of the LPs from his collection:

ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: Well, in a way, yes, it is...it's the first Australian pressing on Parlophone here, and the first with the USA-copied (matt card) gatefold cover here (without booklet). Pressing plates made from a USA-originated master tape, as the songs on Side Two are all fake stereo, like the US album. After this it was remastered here for one final vinyl pressing in 1988 on the black with silver-box labels...(matrix numbers on this are: PCSO.3077A and PCSO.3077B).

CONDITION:
COVER: ( EX- )...the front and back are so close to mint...beautiful !! ...and the inside cover has some foxing (light-brown 'age-ing' spots...see pix)...
RECORD: ( EX- )...very shiny but with some light scuff marks...plays so near to mint (very slight occasional crackles)......
LABELS: (Side One: MINT / Side Two: MINT )...has NO spindle marks on labels at all...stunning...
