The BEATLES
Magical Mystery Tour
1967 mono Capitol MAL 2835 JACKSONVILLE PRESS
Dead Wax Side 1; MA(T)L1-2835-G6 2 O
Dead Wax Side 2; MA(T)2-2835-F7 2 O DISCOGS NOTE: " The runout listed above- MA(T)L -means that it appears the original prefix etched in was "T" but then the MAL was etched within those letters later. (The stem of the original "T" became the right vertical part of the "A" and the left of the top of the original "T" became the top of the "A".) Occurs on both sides."
VINYL: Plays VG+ but looks VG at best the worst sound defect is a scratch at the last few seconds of the record which causes pops as "All you need is Love" is almost at the end of it's very long fade out. The Beatles Capitol pressings were of really high quality & light superficial lines (which this copy has many) that might cause sound defects on many other pressings often don't on these Beatles pressings SLEEVE: VG punch hole at top right I carefully & invisibly glue repaired 2"ish splits at the back top and bottom opening side edges Inside of the booklet Booklet is detached from the 1st and last page in a rounded poly inner to keep the sleeve from splitting again.
"No You're Not!" text under "I Am the Walrus" is in bold font (not script, as some later versions), on inside cover. (SEE PIX)

M - reserved for sealed records.
NM Near Mint with no more than a couple insignificant defects.
EX Plays just a little short of NM
VG+ Used but not abused. Will have a number of audible imperfections but no serious problems.
VG A well used record that still sounds OK but will have some pops &/or surface noise but nowhere near the volume of the music
VG- A very worn record that plays through without repeating or has a skip that loses more than a couple of notes/words.
It will have defects that will be noted.
