Hi, Its time to clear out most of my records. As you will see by my user name I am very into mainly music from 1964-1973.I was lucky to be around at a great time in the UK and I was able to see most of the classic bands and I collected some great records. I am very clued up about different UK pressings as I have collected vinyl for around 30 years. I will be adding some gems from now on from my collection. I have taken great effort in my pictures so that you will see my items are very carefully graded , I think my pictures will show this. VERY RARE 1964 STEREO UK PARLOPHONE LP With Mid Sized Stereo flipback Cover (PCS 3042)

This pressing was issued in 1964 for a very short while. It features the same Stereo font (mid sized) as found on 1st pressings of A Hard Days Night.Both With The Beatles and Please Please Me where pressed this was in Mono and stereo using the Mid Size font and all are very difficult to locate. This is a very nice example as I am sure you will see by the many pictures I have provided.
The Record....The very rare record is in very clean nice condition and plays with great original Stereo sound. I have had the record in my collection for many years and I can report this is a great Please Please Me to listen to. The original Stereo mix is really fantastic. as I am sure you will know Stereo LPs in the UK sold in very low numbers in the UK in 1964. The LP features Parlopone Rims and Sold In The UK Text.I grade under very harsh light and there is some very light surface wear only but certainly no deep marks. The record still has is superb full gloss and to find a nicer example of this very rare pressing will prove very hard. I will grade as VERY GOOD+++/ NEAR EXCELLENT.
The Labels....Are both in a nice EXCELLENT Condition just showing some spindle marks but below average for this LP. As you will see by the pictures the labels are in a very nice condition. The TAX code used on this pressing is KT.
The Inner Cover....As you will see by both pictures the original EMITEX tracing paper inner is in outstanding condition with no tears or splits or writing.. This could be the nicest example of this inner you will see. I have placed the LP in a new inner to stop damage to the original when in the post.
Final summary....A really nice clean tidy example of this very hard to find LP. This very rarely shows up for sale.

I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All records are sent out in a plastic cover with the record NOT inside the front cover to stop splits and damage. I will also place the LP in a new inner cover to stop damage to the original when in the post. Insurance is available . The choice is yours if you take it or not. I will get a proof of posting for all items sent out. I will not be responsible for lost post if insurance is not taken.
