1st UK pressing with: • A Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated one piece gatefold cover (flipback glue-tabs at the top on inner spread); • A red half-tone print on white 'psychedelic' paper inner sleeve; • A 'cut-outs' card insert (full-color, single-sided. Printed signatures of Peter Blake / Jann Haworth at foot); • Black and yellow Parlophone logo labels with silver text: "The Gramophone Co." in the radial text and "Sold in U.K. Subject To Resale Price Conditions, See Price Lists" across labels at center, with "Made in Gt. Britain" at foot. • Narrow spine.
THIS COPY A fantastic full set in great condition, with original flame inner sleeve, cutouts intact, and a great mono sound! How SPLHCB was meant to be heard - view photos...
The gatefold sleeve is nice and shiny, front back and inside , some light wear on corner and edges, slight creasing on spine but very good and readable - PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS
The original flame 'fools' inner has a little creasing, no writing or tears, a small split on bottom edge
The cutouts card is clean, intact and excellent!
Labels, KT side 2, have light scratches around the centre hole from past use, no labels sticky marks, names, initials or pen, very nice - PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS
Vinyl: side one has a light hairline, other than that very little sign of usage and no major impact on playback; side two has a few more light marks , barely visible; nothign impacts negatively on listening ....
A full play test gave up nothing more than a bit of light crackle in between a few tracks, if you listen hard enough.sounds excellent, a very good listen! - nobody could be disappointed!
