The BEATLES SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND YEX 637-1 638-1 with Cut Out PMC 7027 1967 with The Fourth Proof gatefold sleeve marked A R and D13217
The matrix numbers are XEX 637-1 on side one and XEX 638-1 on side two Vinyl is in Very Good+ condition with a few light surface marks here and there. Plays absolutely great. FOURTH PROOF D13217 Gatefold sleeve is in Very Good condition for the age. Some wear to edges and splint area as shown.
This is the first pressing of Sgt. Pepper's with catalogue numbers PMC 7027 ,Yellow lock writing Parlophone label. Label centre has "Sold in U.K." statement. Label edge has "All rights of the manufacturer" starts with "The Gramophone Co. Ltd." .
A unique variant features of this record is its pre-production gatefold sleeve. The Fourth Proof sleeves are believed to be made during the final agreement. An extremely limited number of Fourth Proof sleeves were ever printed with FOURTH PROOF , initials A R and D13217 printed on the top flip-back on the inner gatefold of the sleeve.
Record comes with the original cut outs card that has Peter Blake Jann Haworth names printed bottom right. Cut Outs card is in excellent condition for the age.
