Something New 1964 Odeon SMO 83756 1st German Press
VINYL: VG I've rareIy seen a better case of "plays much better than it looks". I assume this must have been stacked and dropped onto another Lp many times the way a lot of Lps were on 1960's record players. That is what I believe made the entire Lp covered with surface lines (see the last picture). However it still plays a quite passable and still very entertaining VG. Quite a few light to moderate pops but nothing in the way of surface "hiss". The basic sound is very strong & surprisingly clean.
SLEEVE: VG some black marker repair along the edges would make this look a quite decent VG+. The main defect is at the bottom of the spine
Labels: side 1 label has a partially erased (phone?) number on it & some of the label lettering was also erased. Inner Sleeve: Has the typical bottom center split of less than 2 inches.

NM (Near Mint): Record and cover appear virtually unmarked.
EX: Plays just a little short of near mint .
VG+ : Used but not abused. Will have some audible imperfections.
VG : Many only surface lines or may have 1 or more small scratches .Background sound but still very enjoyable.
VG-: significant background sound from various defects but music always quite audible above it.
