"STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER/PENNY LANE"
PARLOPHONE RECORDS Cat# R 5570
UK 7" pressing & custom picture cover

JOHN wrote a beautiful psych piece here, and PAUL came to the table with a fantastic composition too. These songs were written before, and intended for the next album - which became Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band!
Brian Epstein was pressured by the record company for another single to put out as soon as possible, so these AMAZING tracks were issued - a GREAT double sided single!
In the UK, this was an extremely unusual format for any single release. VERY few issues got a custom cover!
A cool original British collectable.
