The Beatles Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
Mono PMC 7027 XEX 637-1 ( 1/RTA ) and XEX 638-1 ( 2/MAP )
First UK Pressing with WIDE SPINE gatefold cover.
Complete with RED PSYCHEDELIC inner sleeve and DARKER GREEN cut out insert.
LP: Relatively unmarked, a few minor superficial marks. Spindle marks visible but not excessive. Name very faintly written on
both labels only visible when tilted to light.
AUDIO: The fantastic MONO MIX from 1967
is loud and clear on this copy. Plays VG+, a few minor clicks in quiet parts, this can be played LOUD, a very nice sounding LP.
GATEFOLD COVER: Some age related wear, corner bumps and mild creasing
there is a 2 cm tear at the edge where the record goes in (where the ‘Welcome the Rolling Stones’ doll is)
Faded name in ink on the back top left hand corner, the spine shows some squashed points.
Inside is nice and clean. VERY GOOD example, not perfect but respectable for its age.
The RED FLAME inner is in very nice condition, it has ripped slightly on the sides but the bottom is intact.
The insert shows a few age related creases but is intact and a very good example.
