One of the most important milestones in the Beatles (or pop music in general) this broadly arranged concept LP ushered in the 'summer of love' and was an instant hit worldwide. Using many recording techniques they had not been at liberty to use before the sound was shaped to compliment the material with out any consideration to publicly performing the songs as they had given up touring. A bouquet for the ears, both mono and stereo mixes feature different emphasis on certain songs.
