Hello and welcome to my auction.
I have taken many pictures of this record as seen above.
I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
I never ship records inside the picture covers or LP jackets.
THE BEATLES.
STRAWBERRY FIELDS / PENNY LANE.
UK 1967 PARLOPHONE 7" SINGLE WITH PICTURE COVER.
This disc has a solid centre and -1 / -1 matrix numbers.
The picture cover is in better than most I have seen or had. This cover is very fragile so it normally is in very tatty conditions.
Also included is a page from the NME from March 1967, this has the weeks chart that has this single at number 2. This chart is of interest as this would be the 1st time a Beatles single would not make number 1 since From Me to You back in 1963.
The Record / VG+ condition. A clean disc with some light wear only under halogen bulb.
The Cover / VG+ condition. Some creasing but in better shape than normal.
The Labels / EX- condition. KT tax code. Nice solid labels with some spindle marks only.
The NME page is folded and will be sent folded as shown in the pictures above.

I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
