They say a picture is worth one thousand words...but some pictures don't tell the whole story, so please read my item description & condition below as well as my terms of sale.
ITEM DESCRIPTION & CONDITION: The Early Beatles is the Beatles' sixth album released on Capitol Records, and their eighth album for the American market. All of the tracks on this album had previously been issued on the early 1964 Vee-Jay Records release Introducing... The Beatles. The front cover photo for this album features the same back cover photo for the British LP Beatles for Sale. Below I have described many key components of this item so that you, the buyer, can better determine its age, condition and value for yourself. The item condition and the identifiable characteristics are as follows:
1) The vinyl disc itself, ST-2309, is in relatively good condition. Both sides have little to no noticeable signs of 'excessive' play or wear. Both sides do, however, have several light surface scratches and numerous fingerprints. One (1) flaw of note, side 2 (B) Track 4 appears to have a foreign substance in the middle of the track at the 4 o'clock position which almost certainly will cause a skip. The labels show only a minimal number of spindle marks and some noticeable wear marks around the spindle hole on each side otherwise near perfect condition. I have no way of play testing this item so I cannot comment, with any degree of certainty, on the sound quality...see photos.

• Matrix/Runout/Dead wax (Etched Side 2 (B)): ST2-2309-X4P without (IAM in triangle) stamping
• Printing on label is "MFD. BY CAPITOL RECORDS..." is show as BLUE, versus white
• Catalog number ST-2309 appears on the labels
• Any/all other identifiable label characteristics can be seen in photos

2) The Album Cover/Jacket itself, still has the original shrink wrap, which unfortunately has 'split' or separated along the top edge from the opening approximately six (6) inches in length. Each of the four corners are relatively square however there is a slight bump and bend, as well as some fuzzing noticeable at the two corners of the open end. The front cover colors are vibrant however the front slick is positioned off-center and was applied at a slight angle relative to horizontal. There is a little rippling of the outer paper layer at the seam on the top front cover. The rear cover is a dull white which has begun to yellow along the open end, also there are numerous water spots which appear to have leached through the shrink wrap...I wasn't aware that this was even possible until now. There are no seam splits, no writing, and no markings of any kind...see photos.

• Back cover states: "THIS STEREO RECORD SHOULD BE PLAYED ONLY WITH A STEREO CARTRIDGE AND NEEDLE TO AVOID DAMAGE."
• Smaller Print on back: "MADE IN U.S.A. * FACTORIES: SCRANTON, PA. - LOS ANGELES, CALIF."
• Catalog number ST 2309 appears on the spine and top right of front cover and rear cover
• The back cover has no number or factory designation next to the RIAA symbol

3) The inner sleeve, believed to be the original, is a Capitol Records 'Teen Set' protective envelope. Really nice overall condition, no seam splits, no tears, no writing, however the lower right corner, as viewed from the front, was at one time bent over when inserted into the album cover/jacket.

However, since USPS Media Mail is consistently taking longer than estimated and is subject to inspection which can further delay delivery, I now offer USPS Retail Ground service and/or expedited shipping via USPS Priority Mail. Please note: I add $1.50 to shipping charges as a handling fee to cover the cost of a brand new and previously unused LP mailer and corrugated filler pads. PACKAGING: 1) Opened record albums; The vinyl record disc itself is removed from the album cover/jacket to prevent damaging the cover during shipment. If the item includes a specialized or custom inner sleeve, the vinyl record disc is removed from the original inner sleeve and placed in a generic inner sleeve. The album cover, the vinyl record disc and any/all inserts will be placed in a top-load style plastic sleeve which is placed in a pre-formed corrugated mailer along with any necessary packing material for shipment. 2) Unopened (sealed) record albums; Sealed items will remain unopened and are placed in a top-load style plastic sleeve which is placed in a pre-formed corrugated mailer along with any necessary packing material for shipment.
PAYMENT: I only accept payment through eBAY managed payment system or PAYPAL (if it is still accepted through eBAY)!  Any/all payments must be completed within 72 hours of auction end unless other arrangements have been agreed to by both the purchaser and the seller. Immediate payment due if and when using the Buy-It-Now option.
