The BEATLES

'The White Album' 1968 MONO

This is for record 1 only in a plain white inner. Nothing else is included.

Very first mono pressing without "An EMI Recording" on the labels and 'XEX 709-1 / XEX 710-1' in the dead wax.

Side 1 has some marks and long surface scratches. Despite the marks It still plays pretty well. There are some light clicks & ticks during the first 3 or 4 songs but nothing too nasty. It gets better as the side progresses.

Side 2 looks much better. It has some small marks & scratches but it plays fine. There are some ticks at the start of 'Martha my Dear' but the rest of the side plays really well. Even the last 2 quiet tracks 'I Will' and 'Julia' sound great.

A very good cheap replacement if your first pressing white album record 1 is totally battered or missing.

I listened to it with my amplifiers 'mono' button turned on. It may differ when played on standard stereo equipment.
