ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: Yes, it is...has fully-laminated, top-opening cover with embossed band name...numbered (this one is # 0192629...see pic - note: the '1' is hard to see as it's faded, but it is there)...comes complete with poster and 4 band-pic photos. Has plain white inner sleeves instead of the original black ones.
Mono/Stereo Differences:This release is probably the most essential to have in both mono and stereo, as almost every track has some difference. But the following thirteen tracks have the most marked variations.
"Back In The U.S.S.R." The airplane overdubs occur in different places on the mono and stereo versions. "Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da" The stereo version has hand-clapping during the intro, the mono version does not. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" The stereo version has some vocal sounds from George at the end, the mono version does not. "Blackbird" The bird sound effects are quite different between the stereo and the mono release. "Piggies" The pig sound effects are quite different between the stereo and the mono release. "Don't Pass Me By" The mono version is much faster than the stereo, and therefore is shorter.The violin sounds at the end are markedly different. "Why Don't We Do It In The Road" The stereo version has hand-clapping during the intro, the mono version does not. "I Will" The stereo version has more prominent bongos. "Birthday" The stereo version has extra vocals at the end of the second chorus. "Sexy Sadie" The stereo version has two taps on the tambourine during the intro, the mono version only has one. "Helter Skelter" The stereo version has a fade-out/fade-in dummy ending with Ringo's shout of "I've got blisters on my fingers", the mono version does not ! ... this makes the stereo version almost a minute longer. "Long, Long, Long" The stereo version is fine, but on the mono, George's double-tracked vocal is embarrassingly out of synch. "Honey Pie" The stereo version has a shorter guitar solo than the mono version.

This is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK **FIRST** pressing.
It's on the original dark-green-apple labels with ‘? 1968’, plus 'Sold in UK' label text.
Album title, band name, and songs/songwriters/publishing credits on the labels are in the original 'fat' Sans Serif style font, NOT the later slim version.
The official machine-stamped matrix numbers are:

CONDITION:
COVER: ( VG+ )...has a couple of tears on the front opening edge, plus some scuffing there too...also has some small creases on the other 3 seams...plus some discolouration and minor 'foxing' stains...
RECORDS: ( G- )...all 4 sides have many marks ...Sides 3 and 4 play through with crackling, pops, and hiss, but it skips at the beginning of "Long, Long, Long" on Side 3...Sides 1 and 2 play much better as there are no heavy marks...that vinyl is more like G++, and they just suffer from light crackling and occasional pops...a very loud cut and those first 2 sides are a good listen still...3 and 4, less so. (I wouldn't normally sell an item in this condition, but I don't like the idea of throwing out an original numbered copy.)
PHOTOS: ...the George and John pix are mint, the Paul and Ringo pix have a couple of small crinkles (very minor though)...
POSTER: (VG+)...has some minor crinkling, and light scuffing along the folds, plus a couple of small and pretty insignificant stains...
LABELS: (Side One: M- / Side Two: EX / Side Three: EX / Side Four: VG+ )...Side 4 has pencil marks...

PACKING:
Don’t worry - I'll pack anything you buy VERY CAREFULLY to make sure it arrives in EXACTLY the condition it left here. More specifically, in the way I'd like to receive parcels myself. VINYL: All LPs come packaged carefully in solid corrugated card packaging designed specifically for LPs, plus the LPs are housed in clear plastic sleeves. The record itself is ALWAYS removed from cover ( except for SEALED LPs) for shipping to prevent seam splitting, and placed alongside the LP cover (inside its own inner sleeve, OR in an extra sleeve to keep in secure) within the clear plastic sleeve, which is then sealed. Likewise 7" singles/EPs are packaged the same way too - well protected. POSTERS: All posters are rolled within outer protective paper that extends well beyond the actual length of the poster to avoid any crushing of the ends, and then packed in a very sturdy solid-card mailing tube - packed carefully to allow no room for any movement of the item inside.
