I have just cleaned with Okki Nokki record cleaning machine prior to playback

VINYL IN VG CONDITION

Some light surface marks/light scratches / light wispy lines visible - nothing serious - no deep scratches - Have checked vinyl under a bright light

Have playtested vinyl on a Regar Plan 2 deck

There were no skips, jumps, or sticks, but there was some periodic background surface noise/clicks/crackles – more noticeable in between tracks & during quiet passages

Sound quality is excellent – no deterioration in sound quality

Superb playback  - the vinyl has lasted very well.

When the vinyl was played, the background noise did not overwhelm the music - nor ruin the listening experience.

Record labels are clean and the print is clearly visible. 

No writing on the record label

No sticky residue or discoloration.

Except for spidermarks & spindle wear.

SLEEVE IN VG CONDITION

The laminated flipback sleeve has general storage wear from rubbing & handling etc  i.e the sleeve has some creases/blisters & wear on/near the edges/corners.

Small tear on front has been repaired with brown tape ( tape is inside sleeve).

text on the spine is clearly legible

record ring wear

some staining on the flip-back side.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

I DO NOT SELL ANY VINYL GRADED LESS THAN VG, UNLESS IT IS ANYTHING THAT IS VERY RARE OR SPECIAL.
