Description
The BEATLES: "White Album" US copy from 1968. This is a Jacksonville, IL. Capitol records pressing with the ultra rare hype sticker. The color of the hype sticker is pinkish-orange. Very bright colors (per picture) 6.5 x 6.0 inches complete with the Apple records logo and all the songs from the double album. This is 1 of 9 color variations per Bruce Spizer (author of many Beatles record guide). Album Cover: 1st pressing cover with embossed title and stamped # on front lower right corner. SWBO 101 at lower left of gatefold. "Stereo" at upper right corner of back cover. The cover is in fantastic and glossy copy with no wring wear and no writings. Graded in EX. condition. Only back cover is a slight smear. Comes with wide spine in EX. grade.
Records: Side 1 LP is VG. Side 2 is VG+. Side 3 and 4 is EX. condition. A few noise pop and crackle on spots. Overall, the sound is punchy and loud. A classic rock double album turning 50 years old next month. All 4 Apple logos in EX. condition. No spindle wear. The LPS are 2nd pressing # Dot 0829893 (0) Jacksonville mark.
Poster: EX. to NrMnt. condition. Super glossy and sharp corners. No holes or writings. Size 34 X 23 dimension.
Pictures: Large individual and glossy photos on heavy cardstock. Ringo's picture tape in back small tear. All photos with pinholes in corners.
