Description
This is a box set of The Beatles top 26 singles.
I believe this dates from possibly the 1980s? Not the 1960s, but was released as a collectors item, they still produce a modern version to this day for around £150 - £200 ...
This belongs to a friend of mine, it was her late husbands and she wants to sell it to treat her grandchildren, if it doesn't sell I will buy it from her instead.
It comprises 27 records in total including a picture disc version of 'love me do'.
Condition:
The outer box is getting a bit tatty tbh but most of the records and sleeves are in excellent condition having been played only a handful of times -
Some just need a light dusting and a few light finger marks cleaned off...
There are 5 records i have pictured with what are in my opinion minor manufacturing faults but for 100% accuracy I want to mention them:
1. ' p.s I love you ' has a patina to the surface which may or may not affect play, but this song is also on the b side of the bonus picture disc included.
2. ' a hard days night', 'ticket to ride' and 'yesterday' have slight bubbling to the paper labels around the centre hole, obviously the playing surfaces are perfectly fine, this is just likely due to a lack of glue used on the labelling.
3. 'we can work it out' has a tiny blob of glue or small defect on the playing surface which I assume may cause a 'jump' but have not tested.
Otherwise all of the records are in very, very good condition visually.
The previous owner paid £58.99 many years ago for this as is stamped on the paper index sheet so that is what I am starting the bidding at, free postage within the UK.
Many thanks
