The late 1960's progressive psych era has spawned some especially interesting and groundbreaking British bands, not least The BEE GEES and this may be one of the better examples of the scene at that period in time.
Born in the UK but emigrating to Australia, they realised their talents were more fitting and more likely to get wider recognition back in 60s Britain.
Their debut UK single was the wonderful 'Spicks And Specks'. If further proof was needed for their stature as a leading outfit.... this album was DEFINITELY that and more, and immediately established them as a quality artists among peers such as The Hollies and The Herd.
I can't think of a bad moment here, it's a keeper, and ranks among the best sixties recordings.
Recommended - if not ESSENTIAL 60's psych!
