Now this is a Very Rare Record!  The rarest  records in the World  are Test Pressings & Radio Station Promos due to their extremely small numbers! Radio Promos records were exclusively distributed by the manufacturers to Radio Stations to  be played & promoted on air by the DJ.The number of Radio Stations broadcasting during this era in Australia would have been no more than 150 in total.Of this number not all would have promoted this particular style of music & some not playing music of any kind.It is estimated at most maybe 100 stations would be applicable.Generally the Station received 2 records from the manufacturers.One was the Master Copy to be promoted- the other was a "Back-Up"or Duplicate copy in case of some misfortune or accident  happening to the Master Copy.Many Duplicate copies were never needed & never played,making them the rarest,however the Master Copy was only lightly played over the short time of the promotion & played on superior equipment. As a result they were generally free of scratches & excessive wear- making them the superior choice compared to all others sold in the retail marketplace In addition they were stored in a thick studio cover & protected- unlike the thin paper covers of those sold on the retail market.Another added attraction for collectors is that they had a background "History".with the  dates played on Air stamped or written on the cover giving them a genuine record history of the number of times played,important to those seeking quality or near mint condition! With only 200 or so of these records originally distributed,they were already extremely rare,however they are now insanely rare because most of them were worthless & discarded by the stations when CD's replaced them! Very few of those left have survived over the passage of the many decades of time since then! I predict these will rocket up in price to staggering figures in the near future as more collectors become aware of their extreme rarity!!! . This is a genuine DJ Promo Record with promo details on label. Issued to a Australia ( Qld) Radio Station from the manufacturers to promote in .The record is still in the original radio station protective sleeve.   .This appears to be the Duplicate (spare copy) with no playing dates stamped on cover. The record retains a brilliant shine & probably has been played only a few times over it's 50 years! It is in VG+ Condition.Test played once for sound quality.Audio is outstanding! Crystal clear without any problems. Very few 54 year old 45rpm records like this quality anymore!
