Description
I'm 72 years old. My kids don't want any of my vinyl records so I'm selling my collection. Here is part of my collection in near mint condition. I'll also be posting radio show LP's, box sets and other rare vinyl records, especially Bob Dylan bootlegs. Keep me as a favorite seller and watch for more great stuff!!!
BIG PINK- A pink house seated in the sun of Overlook Mountain in West Saugerties, New York. Big Pink bore this music and these songs along its way. It's the first witness of this album that's been thought and composed right there in its walls." The Band’s iconic “Music From Big Pink” is getting the deluxe treatment from Capitol. Bob Clearmountain went back to the original four-track analog masters and made a completely new stereo mix. Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman mastering cut the lacquers at 45 RPM, hopefully directly from analog tape. This album’s fascinating history on vinyl includes an original release that was bass limited below 80Hz. As the story goes, the great Robert Ludwig produced an early “hot” cut that was rejected by Capitol for bass that wouldn’t track on kiddy stereos without the “needle” jumping out of the groove.
