Description

The Band THE LAST WALTZ - Rhino Handmade 3LP limited box set edition SIGNED BY ROBBIE ROBERTSON! These sets were limited to 1,500 copies worldwide, and this is super LOW #112! If you blinked you missed this one, but now's your chance to get this long out of print collectible at a fair market price!
IMPORTANT: I purchased this set directly from Rhino around date of release. The LPs have NEVER been played, and here is a description of the set and its condition:
1) The outer box is somewhere between EX and NM. Picture 7 shows a small ding to the front bottom edge, and Picture 8 shows a smudge. There are other incidents of handling, but the outer box grades easily at a strong EX or better. 
2) The numbered art print/signature is in mint condition (Pictures 3, 4 and 5). 
3) 3LPs in heavy paper sleeves - The LPs are as new/mint/unplayed. Rhino used a heavy, textured paper for the LP sleeves, which has proven to be a mistake: these sleeves are easy to dent or crease, and one sleeve has a seam split (despite the fact this box set has been motionless for YEARS, sitting along side other LPs), while the other sleeves show signs of wear along with various creases or dents. Please see Pictures 9 through 13 for examples. 
4) Original booklet (Pictures 14 through 16). Picture 16 shows there is small crease to the front lower left corner of the booklet. Otherwise, the booklet is in NM condition. 

5) Inner box/tray (Picture 17) is in EX condition overall.
6) Extras: Pictures 18 an 19 show the front and back of the following: concert poster, ticket, artist roster, round table placard, backstage badge, all in mint condition. 

ABOUT SHIPPING AND HANDLING: Please note there is a $3 fee included in Ebay's estimate of Media Mail shipping costs. I believe the best way to way to ship an LP includes a 13"x14"x3" "pizza" style box, 12"x12" cardboard flats, outer shopping bag, and bubble wrap. The shipping boxes alone cost me over $3 each, and the average total cost of shipping materials is around $4.72, so this is NOT a money-maker for me. However, it does ensure, consistently, that these high value LPs arrive safely. Please check my feedback and I think you'll see that buyers appreciate the care with which these precious artifacts are handled. 

COMBINED SHIPPING: I am more than happy to combine shipping. Ebay buyers pay the actual postage costs. If a single LP is purchased, the buyer pays actual postage and $3 for shipping materials. If two LPs are purchased, the buyer pays actual postage and $3 for shipping materials. If three or more LPs are purchased, the buyer pays actual postage and $0 for shipping materials (I will absorb the cost of materials). As the final amount can only be calculated after auctions have ended, I will issue the appropriate refund on the day the LPs are shipped. 

About Me: I'm a long time Ebay buyer intent on selling a significant portion of my LP collection over the next year or two (or three!). I believe in the auction process, so I'm NOT going to list records at absurdly high prices, and I look forward to getting rare, out of print records into the hands of music lovers, record collectors and audiophiles (I consider myself all of the above).
