Description

For Sale is one (1) The Beach Boys 45rpm record Picture Sleeve (ONLY) “Heroes and Villains” b/w "You’re Welcome”.  Capitol Records 5826 / 1001, issued 1967. Manufactured by Capitol Records in 1967, and intended to for release in the U.S., but was cancelled when The Beach Boys announced that the single would be released on their own label Brother Records.  Most the sleeves were destroyed by Capitol, with some remaining sleeves being exported to Canada and Sweden.  The version here for sale is the  rarer Canadian issue, having the U.S. number 5826 blackened out, and the number 1001 printed above it.   The Picture Sleeve is beautiful, remarkably clean, no seams split or cut-outs, no pin holes, stickers, or tears, some light handling and imprint creases, and graded VG++ condition.  View the images provided.   Visually graded under very bright lighting and magnification.
