   For sale is The Beach Boys' Endless Summer, originally released in 1974 by Capitol Records as a double album set with a gate-fold presentation. This release has the original orange labels with "Capitol" in greenish letters at the bottom of the labels, used by Capitol Records between 1972- 78. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is machine stamped "Mastered by Capitol" and "O", followed by the matrix numbers F-1 #1/F-1 #4/F-2#1/A #1, signifying that this record was mastered at Capitol Studios in Hollywood, California, then the first stamper was used for this first edition, that was made at Capitol Records' pressing plant located in Jacksonville, Illinois. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record set used, professionally cleaned both records on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put them into two MFSL archival inner sleeves. This preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the record. There are no original inner sleeve with this listing. The original 20" X 30" poster is Near Mint. The cover is graded as Excellent because of minor corner blunts and edge rubs. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint Minus because of faint sleeve marks. I'm play grading it as Near Mint. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life yet. This is the best copy of this hard to find album that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find an original in this condition, especially with the original poster in a Near Mint condition. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection.  I have a lot more Rock and Roll records as well as albums of all different genres listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look.
