Description
Released in 1966 and probably one of The Beach Boy's best albums, Pet Sounds,
This copy is on the Capitol Recording label - T 2458 and is presented in MONO format.
The album's sleeve for its age is in good condition,it is of the laminated "flipback" style is presented by Garrod and Lofthouse (patents pending).The front cover is good and clear.
The rear cover has become off white in places and bears some discolouring - nothing at all serious but entirely consistent with storage and handling over the years. A previous keeper has attached a sticker at the bottom with his name on (could quite possibly come off with care - please see photos).
The albums outer edges, spine and corners are relatively well preserved showing no particular signs of wear usually consistent with storage/handling over the years.
The inner sleeve is standard factory pressed in white and is in good order.
The vinyl presents with a good sheene to both sides. A very close visual inspection under bright lighting conditions to side one reveals several surface marks and scratches of which under these conditions are visible I have played the LP and the audio reproduction on side one is virtually faithful there being no track skipping or jumps, there is the occasional crack in between tracks often associated with ageing vinyl and the presence of dust that is not easily visible to the eye.
Similarly with side two, there are one or two light surface scratches and marks visible upon close inspection under bright lighting conditions - nothing at all serious in fact I have played this side of the LP and the audio reproduction on side two is also is virtually faithful there being no track skipping or jumps, there is the occasional crack in between tracks often associated with ageing vinyl and the presence of dust that is not easily visible to the eye.

The records label on one side has a blemish where a sticky label has been removed (please see photo)
