The Beach Boys – Pet Sounds1966 Original Capitol DT 2458 – Duophonic "Stereo"VG+ Vinyl • Very Nice Copy from a Family Collection
For sale is a very respectable 1966 pressing of one of the greatest albums ever recorded — Pet Sounds.
This is the classic Duophonic version (electronically rechanneled "stereo") that many people grew up with and still love — the original 1966 way most fans first experienced this masterpiece outside of the preferred mono mix.
Condition:
- Vinyl — G+ (good plus) Looks beautiful, plays great — clean with light/very light signs of play only. Glossy, no deep scratches, no ugly scuffs, no feelable marks that cause clicks/pops. Sounds strong, warm and full— really enjoyable listen from start to finish.
- Cover — Pretty good overall, but shows some wear and slightly faded colors. Bright colors, minimal ring wear, light normal shelf/edge wear only — no splits, no writing, no major creases.
Pulled straight from a well-cared-for family record collection — always stored properly and played with care.
A very solid, highly listenable and great-looking early copy of the most important and influential album in the entire Beach Boys catalog — frequently ranked among the top 5 greatest albums of all time.
