The Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" 1966 Capital Records Vinyl LP DT 2458 / USED. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail. Before with getting to the item description, here's a little trivia. Pet Sounds is the Beach Boys 11th studio album. Was released by Capital Records May, 16, 1966 Pet Sounds ranked #10 on the record charts in the U.S. and ranked #2 in the UK. Both sides of the vinyl has several light scratches that don't cause any problems. There is one scratch on side 1 that looks bad, but isn't. Both sides play very well, maybe a few clicks, and pops, but no skips. The inner sleeve is the original and is in poor condition. It looks discolored from age. One side the glue has let lose almost all the way, and the record is cutting through the bottom. I put a new sleeve in with the old one. The outer cover is also in poor condition. There is a lot of surface wear, and ring wear on both sides. With a lot of wear on the edges, so bad that the record is starting to cut through on the side opposite the opening. As I was looking at it the bottom just opened up.
