Up for auction is a genuine, authentic 1966 U.S. Mono first pressing of The Beach Boys' masterpiece, Pet Sounds. This copy features the original Capitol Records black label with the iconic rainbow outer rim and the Capitol logo positioned at the 9 o'clock spot.
Condition Breakdown:Please read carefully before bidding, as this record is being sold AS-IS due to condition.
Vinyl Condition: Good Plus (G+). The vinyl retains a nice visual gloss but shows moderate surface smudges and light scuffs. There is one prominent scratch towards the outer/end edge of the vinyl that catches a fingernail. Because I do not own a turntable, this record is untested for playback and may pop, click, or skip at that scratch.
Jacket/Sleeve Condition: Good Plus (G+). The cover shows typical ring wear, soft corners, and edge scuffs consistent with its age. Most notably, there is a distinct seam split/rip along the top edge of the jacket, and on the sleeve (see photos).
