The Beach Boys Pet Sounds 2015 Mono Reissue 200g Vinyl Remastered EX/NM.

For auction is an excellent listeners copy of Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys. Their eleventh studio album released in May 1966. Upon its release, the album was praised in the UK and reached #2 there. Despite this, it had a mediocre response in the US where it peaked at #10 on the Billboard 200. In the UK, the record was advertised as “the most progressive pop album ever” and over time, the rest of the world would share that sentiment. Pet Sounds is now considered one of the greatest and most influential albums in music history. It has become revered for its pioneering production and sophisticated music and emotional lyrics. It features the timeless classics, “Wouldn’t It Be Nice”, “Sloop John B” and “God Only Knows”. Most critics agree that Pet Sounds is one of the best albums ever. In 2020 Rolling Stone ranked it #2 on its list of “500 Greatest Albums of All Time.” This copy is a 2015 mono reissue that was pressed on 200 gram vinyl by Quality Record Pressings and released by Analogue Productions with the records original Capitol Records labels.

Vinyl is play graded EX. A few light surface marks that are purely superficial. Small spindle marks on both sides. Plays with no background noise, skips or jumps. Flawless but not sealed (Mint) and I was not original owner (NM) and do not known the extent of its play history. Sounds amazing! Please see pics.

Cover is in NM condition. In original clear bag with hype sticker. No signs of shelf wear. Looks perfect! Includes a two page insert. Please see pics.
