A superb limited-edition US pressing of The Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds, issued by Capitol Records / UMe in 2018 on distinctive yellow / green coloured vinyl.
Originally released in 1966, Pet Sounds remains the defining Beach Boys studio album, combining Brian Wilson’s ambitious production with some of the group’s most celebrated recordings, including Wouldn’t It Be Nice, Sloop John B, God Only Knows and Caroline, No.
This 2018 coloured-vinyl edition makes for a particularly attractive collector’s copy, retaining the classic Capitol artwork while presenting the album on a striking non-standard vinyl pressing.
