Description

The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds; Capitol Records T 2458; Vinyl, LP, Album, Mono; Released: 16 May 1966 (UK)
Original UK mono release in front laminated flipback cover on Capitol rainbow rim labels. On labels, the Capitol logo is on the left as for the first pressing, unlike the reissues which have the logo centre top. Block lower case 'mono' to top right front cover. B6 appears as "Caroline No" on cover, but as "Caroline, No" on label. On label to left 'SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS'. Embossed KT tax code stamped straddling the spindle hole on Side 2, indicating manufacture between 1963 and 1968.

Condition: Cleaned/Played*. Very Good Plus vinyl, some light marks but nothing affecting the terrific playback. Cover intact, showing two parallel lamination creases to the front but otherwise, like the vinyl, remarkable for age. New inner sleeve (see photos). I appreciate these descriptions are subjective and happy to accept domestic returns (buyer pays postage) if you feel description doesn't match your views.
*Your stylus will continue to pick up dust in the grooves when playing. In all cases, please check stylus for dust before playing side 2.

Combined postage available at no extra cost up to 3 x LPs/2kg. Dispatched in robust cardboard mailer with the record removed from the outer sleeve to prevent damage during transit and placed in a new poly lined white inner sleeve inside a soft polythene cover. The tracking used provides confirmation of delivery but not in transit tracking.
