Description

Up for sale is an original 1966 Capitol Records Duophonic LA pressing of Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys (DT-2458).

This is an authentic vintage U.S. Duophonic “fake stereo” pressing from the album’s original release era — increasingly difficult to find in clean, complete condition.

The vinyl shows a number of light hairline scratches and surface marks consistent with age and use, but the record plays through without issue and remains an enjoyable listen overall.

The jacket is in Very Good Plus condition and presents extremely well for a 1966 original, with strong structure and attractive artwork. The original inner sleeve is included, though it does have seam splits along all its edges from age/storage.

A solid collector’s copy of this landmark Brian Wilson masterpiece and an excellent addition to any Beach Boys or classic rock vinyl collection.
