Description
The Beach Boys “Pet Sounds” LP vinyl copy, Los Angeles Pressing, MONO T2458 (1966). Matrix #’s – Side 1 -- T-1-2458-G-28 1 ? ; Side 2 -- T-2-2458-G-28 2. Cover has the number "6" printed next to the RIAA logo, on the back sleeve; this is the Los Angeles printing plant identifier code.
Record will be sent insured via priority mail as the less time it spends in transit, the fewer chances it hopefully will have of being damaged by USPS.
Vinyl is graded VG – Goldmine Standards states: “Very Good (VG)
Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time. Goldmine price guides with more than one price will list Very Good as the lowest price.”

CONDITION
Cover is VG with punch hole top right corner. Browning to cover (foxing). Some wear to edges from storage. Light ringwear to cover. Vinyl is graded VG. Occasional pop or two may be noted (not loud). Side 2 first song sounds slightly distorted at times – may need extra cleaning. Record cleaned with a Spin Clean. Record has low surface noise (crackles here and there). Some scratches are noted on each side but do not cause the record to skip. Record has been play tested on a new needle with a vintage Sansui turntable. Original inner sleeve is missing. No writing is noted on record labels or on cover.
