Description
Disc: conservatively graded VG. Better condition than most first pressing copies of Pet Sounds I’ve come across (and I’ve probably owned dozens…) There are some hairlines and sleeve marks on either side, nothing more than you would expect from a record of this age. Still highly glossy and reflective. Spindle holes look great, see pics.
Outer cover: VG++ in superb shape, beautiful color preservation with minimal foxing, no corner bumps. As seen in pics, seams are in terrific shape, however there is a minuscule 1/5inch split at the top right corner of the mouth of the sleeve. There is also a tiny sticker with the letter 3 at the top right corner of the front (presumably to help a previous owner catalog their collection) and a small name + address written in pen on the back, see pics. I think that more than anything, these things add character and remind one of the many sets of hands a record can pass through over the course of 50 odd years.
Original inner sleeve included, still a beautiful vibrant orange!
“6” next to the RIAA logo on the back of the outer cover.
