True Original 1st UK Mono Pressing, with 'Capitol' logo positioned at 9 o'clock on label.

Notes: A few wispy marks to the disc but nothing that will deter this 'heavy' quality 60s vinyl from performing. I played a few tracks and the sound was enjoyable with some crackle present - particularly in the quieter passages and higher frequencies, but nothing that detracts from the overall listening experience in my opinion. Please note these light scuffs etc. are visible but not necessarily 'feelable'; so whilst it is clearly a used item, it is still in reasonable shape considering its age. Sleeve is in nice presentable condition with some signs of wear but nothing major. Inner sleeve has small split at the bottom, but easily replaceable if one felt inclined. A solid all round example with tolerable blemishes unless you are searching after a 'mint archive' copy. I suspect this copy will serve the most collectors well. The lowest 'buy it now' 1st pressing copy that I can see on eBay.

RECORD COLLECTOR'S GRADING SYSTEM

Mint

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packag­ing might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable sur­face marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for prop­erly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Please refer to grading system provided, as this should allow you to form a good idea about the condition of the item. Please allow some room for manoeuvre as grading can sometimes be subjective - although I will always try to lean towards conservative gradings.
