Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: The Beach Boys – Pet Sounds – RARE Original UK STEREO Vinyl LP album from 1966.
Original UK STEREO Pressing.
Capitol Records ST 2458
Centre record label has "Sold In U.K. Subject To Resale Price Conditions " text.
Garrod & Lofthouse patents pending sleeve.
Side 1 Matrix: DT1 2458 - B20
Side 2 Matric: DT2 2458- A19
Vinyl Condition: VG/EX (Lovely condition especially for its age. Some light sleeve lines and some light spindle marks but overall a nice condition record. The record plays very well with good sound. Some light crackle and the odd minor pop but no sticks or jumps. Great album and a pleasure to listen to in original stereo).
Inner Sleeve Condition: G/VG (Some yellow spots to the inner sleeve. I have of course included a new polylined inner to keep the record clean and tidy).
Outer Sleeve Condition: VG/EX (Front laminated flip-back sleeve is in lovely condition for its age. Bottom right corner has some very slight lifting of the laminate but nothing major. There are some light creases to the laminate and the odd light mark to the back but still looks nice and white. No writing or anything major on this one. Overall this is a well preserved and cared for record).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR POSTAGE ADDRESS IS UP TO DATE AND CORRECT BEFORE BIDDING.
