The Beach Boys 'Surfin' Safari' Original 1962 DT-1808 Duophonic LP Vinyl Record

Condition Notes:

  •     Record: EX
  •        Sleeve: EX
  •        Inner Sleeve: VG+
  •        Set Includes: Record, Cardboard sleeve, and inner sleeve.

Condition: All my records have been properly stored for 40+ years on a shelf between other records. Any specific issues will be stated in 'Condition Notes'.

Vinyl Grading System Used:

  • Mint (M) The record is absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played and usually sealed.
  • Near Mint (NM or -) The record was on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times. There are no marks on the vinyl. 
  • Excellent (EX) – The record is the same as NM +/- but with very light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times, or tiny signs of use generally.
  • Very Good Plus (VG+) – The record has light inaudible marks, a little background crackle.
  • Very Good (VG) – The record has been used but well cared for. Light pops and clicks, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly used. The cover is split or shows record ring marks.
  • Good (G) – Desirable record but not in great condition, hence the reason for the price. 
  • Poor (P), Fair (F) Poor or Rough condition.  Can still be used for framing.
