Description
The Beach Boys Surfin’ Safari Sealed T 1808 lp.
This is a sealed copy of The Beach Boys first lp on the Capitol label from October 1962.
After a close examination of this original
sealed lp please note the following:
No ring wear to the front; minimal ring wear evident to the back;
Cellophane is intact but for a minor tear at the middle of the left edge when viewed from the rear (estimated at three cm);
Corners aren’t fully squared, probably to be expected for an lp that’s close to 60 years old;
Minor edge wear.
I haven’t seen many examples of these still sealed (I have two - the second is signed by Carl Wilson!) and, to me, the condition must be close to perfect. This is a personal view; I haven’t had the lp graded.
Please feel free to ask any questions. It’s a shame to let this go but this is literally today is the first time I’ve handled this since 2007 so it’s time to move this onto someone else.
