Description

Original oil painting by artist and Beach boys fan Chloe Cumming.

This is based on an interview after a performance on Ready Steady Go! I think in 1965, but relocated to thorncombe woods in Dorset in England.

I painted this in 2003 when I was very intensely into the Beach Boys. The colour palette is unique and very warm... the yellow is chrome yellow, which is very strong and warm. The whole thing has a soft ethereal feel about it.

The painting is small, it only measures 9 by 6 inches, but there's a lot of love, care and a lot of paint in it! It has a satiny finish, I think from the resin and wax I used as glaze mediums in the paint.

Trivia...

I one painted a picture involving Jacob's Dream and Brian Wilson as the moon, which was used as the cover for a well reviewed Brian Wilson cover versions album. My artwork got some good reviews too!

This is the first time I've offered my original work on ebay.
