Here is your opportunity to own the Legendary Pet Sounds album from The Beach Boys.  Many critics and fans agree that Pet Sounds is one of the most incredible albums ever made.  Rolling Stone Magazine ranked Pet Sounds number 2 out of the top 500 albums of all time.  This album was created during a real period of transition for The Beach Boys and Brian Wilson.  This particular LP has T 1-2458-P4 as the matrix number stamped in the dead wax, on side one.  Side two of the LP has T 2-2458-F2  3 stamped in the dead wax.  Both sides of the deadwax also contain a stamped triangle with IAM inside of it.  The triangle with IAM usually signifies an original pressing from the Scranton, PA pressing plant.  In this case, the stamper would erroneous, because the album was pressed in Jamaica.  The vinyl is in Very Good Plus/Very Good Condition.  The LP has a fair number of very small and faint hairline scratches on each side.  Fortunately the vinyl is a thick mono pressing that minimizes the blemish's playback affects.  I noticed some minimal background noise between tracks and at the end/beginning of each side.  The playback is Very Good Plus or better.  The LP labels are quite nice, but they do show some wear and spindle marks.  The LP cover is in Very Good/Very Good minus condition.  The cover has some mild ring wear on each side.  The seams and spine all have a good amount of wear.  The top and bottom seams have a mild amount of wear, most of the wear/deterioration is on the spine.  The spine is missing approximately three quarters of paper binding.  The spine is still very legible, but the catalog number is completely missing.  None of seams have any splits.  The corners all have some rounding.  The back of the cover has a name written along the bottom of jacket opening.  The back of the cover also has some light soiling near the middle of spine.  This album has been professionally cleaned on a VPI 16.5 and will be shipped in a brand new white inner sleeve.  The album jacket will come in a new 3 mil poly sleeve.  The album will be professional shipped in an LP mailer with two 12 inch cardboard inserts.  The LP will be positioned outside of the jacket when shipped.  This album is ready for playing or storage.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  I do not ship outside of the United States.  I can combine shipping for multiple auction wins.  Please bid with confidence.
