Released on the 19th April 1973, this is a very first pressing UK Apple 2 Vinyl LP set for The Beatles 1962-1966, also known as the Red Album. This issue has the rare and hard to find, -1 matrices on all four sides of the LPs.
The two LPs contain 26 original Beatles tracks, from Love Me Do to Yellow Submarine.
Released on the official Green & White Apple Label, with Apple Records, with Mfd in UK, and an EMI Recording label text on all 4 sides.
Official Side 1 matrix: YEX 905-1 and Side 2 matrix: YEX 906-1
Official Side 3 matrix: YEX 907-1 and Side 4 matrix: YEX 908-1
All four Sides of the record labels are in stunning Mint Minus condition.
All four Sides of the Vinyl discs are in beautiful Near Mint condition, the vinyl discs in this set are of particularly heavy quality. All early issues of this album had heavier quality vinyl LPs. All that is visible are a couple of light surface hairlines.
The Red Printed Lyric lyric inner Sleeves are in Near Mint condition, one sleeve has a 1” split to the bottom seam.
The Gatefold Sleeve is in Excellent Plus condition.
