  Here is a 1978, Original  *First RED VINYL Pressing*  of: The Beatles  1962-1966 Compilation LP, (the LTD Edition Red Vinyl LP's were not released before 1978).  This entire LP Package, (Cover, Sleeves & Vinyl LP's) is in EXCELLENT+ Or BETTER Condition.  "THIS IS NOT A RE-ISSUE LP"!  There is no cellophane on the gatefold cover but it looks almost new, inside & outside, with only a few very minor flaws (VG+)(See Photo's). Both Red inner sleeves are printed with the lyrics and are perfectly flat with no damage what-so-ever (Excellent to Near Mint). Both Red Vinyl LP's are super clean, looks brand new with no scratches, scuffs, etc (Excellent to Near Mint). These LP's have Never Been Played, until I did my Audio Spot-Test so I could give a first hand description of the audio quality !  This Double Red Vinyl LP Package was produced and released by Capitol Records, catalog # SEBX-11842.  As mentioned above this is the First US RED VINYL Pressing, released in 1978, the original black vinyl editions were released in 1973. According to the Matrix Run-Out information, this Double LP Set was pressed at the Capitol Records Los Angeles Plant. 
 ? The Audio Test revealed a very crisp, clean, high quality audio with very little, if any noticeable crackle. As with any LP's there were very occasional faint ticks but audible only in the dead time, These LP's look and sound brand new. The audio spot-test was performed on a Technics SL-J33 programmable, linear tracking turntable.

Matrix Run-out Side 4: (etched) SEBX-4-11842-G3 'w or 3' Gene *, (stamped) MASTERED BY CAPITOL.
  Since my local computer shop closed last year, I am selling many Vintage, New & NOS Computer parts, various other items, *as well as many of my own personal collectible items* to help out financially. *Please Read This Information About My LP Collection*:  All Records (LP's) that I sell are from my own personal collection so I know their full history. Over 95% of the LP's I purchased were opened and immediately recorded to cassette tape, then the LP was safely and securely stored to preserve it's quality. On rare occasions, a tape would fail so I would need to play an LP again to re-record it. That is 'usually' the only time an LP would be played more than once. Even in the Very Good / Very Good+ to Excellent Condition that describes most of my LP's, there are exceptions.  They have been stored a long time and have made several cross country moves with me so there may me some minor flaws (or worse). I try to be as accurate as possible to describe them including the Cover, Inner Sleeve & Vinyl LP, and grade them according to 'GoldMine' Standards. I also include Any & All Matrix / Run-Out Stamp or Etching Information, (Numbers, Letters & Symbols, etc) in order to better identify their Exact Origin (US or Foreign), Pressing Dates and Locations, Original, 1st Pressing or Re-Issue's or any other special notations of importance. Finally, since my LP's have "Been Around" the country, moving with me, I've added one more service. Just from the Vinyl LP sliding around in it's sleeve or jacket, paper dust can accumulate in the grooves and affect playback quality, therefore, I gently but thoroughly clean each LP I sell in a Customized Spin Clean system using a residue free anti-static solution, allow them to completely air dry (no towel drying), then place the LP in a New, Clear, Synthetic, Anti-Static Protective Sleeve. Any original sleeves, (photo, printed or just plain) will still be included inside the cover to keep the LP package complete. I also 'Spot Audio Test' each LP for surface noise, especially between tracks where it's most noticeable. If there are small surface scuffs or scratches I will play completely through them and describe any effects they have on the audio quality. This may all seem like a lot of work but I want my buyers to be fully informed and feel confident they are getting a high quality item for their money.
