Description
This is a UK store display with 24 brand new Beatles 45's. It was apparently released to stores in the 1980's, but I am not sure of that.
What's included here is one used in-store display measuring 15" wide x 7" deep and 7 1/2" high. However, when you pop up the header card, the total height is 17." My photos show the header card propped up against the wall because apparently the display came with some sort of cardboard that would hold the header up but is missing. This display was used in a store and shows some wear and tear. However, as you can see, it still holds quite a quantity of 45's,
The 45's included here are Brand New! They are ALL of the original Beatles 45 RPM titles as they appeared in England, although manufactured later on. This promotion was called "Special Collector's Issue- The Beatles 45's 1962-1970." There are a total of 24 Brand New Beatles 45's on the Parlophone and Apple labels.
Also included is a 10" x 29" poster used for in-store promotion. It is bright yellow and green and is in Mint condition.
At some time the UK finally released "Yesterday" as a single. They hadn't released it when the U.S. did. So, the UK finally released it as part of this collection. To promote THAT record they used a 3" x 6" red sticker, which is also included here. The red sticker is unused and is in Mint condition.
So, you get 1) A Beatles in-store, used display, 2) 24 Brand New Beatles 45's covering their entire original Parlophone/ Apple output, 3) a 10" x 29" in-store banner in Mint condition, and 4) a 3" X 6" red sticker that promotes the later "Yesterday"/ "I Should Have Known Better" single in Mint condition.
Would make a great gift, or a display with records that still could be used in a retail store, or an immediate complete collection of all the Beatles original 45's for the new collector! These 45's are often selling for $15.00 each and more!
