Released in December 1965, The Beatles' 'Rubber Soul' remains one of the band's most cherished albums and easily makes the top 50 greatest Rock/Pop albums of all time list.  This 1st UK Stereo pressing brings out all the sonic magic contained on the master tape....the detail, clarity, dramatic stereo separation, ....it's all here on this early UK pressing. If you're properly set up and your turntable is well calibrated...you'll be blown away by the audio from this record. Hearing is believing.  

Cover: Excellent (-)....The GARROD & LOFTHOUSE. printed sleeve is very well preserved for it's 58 years...the lamination still gleams beautifully. 

The smallest piece of laminate has been lost on the rear and there are 2 small areas stained by tape.

Both labels have some spindle marks but otherwise fairly clean. Interestingly there is no 'K T' stamped tax code on either side. The thick and heavy record shows some hairlines and superficial marks but virtually none have any bearing on the superb 1st press audio. Background noise is at a minimum.  Rest assured, 95% of this record grades an incredible Excellent to Near Mint and plays beautifully.  Early UK Stereo pressings of 'Rubber Soul' are now incredibly rare and the audio on this example comes very close to being perfect.

SMALL MARKINGS FROM CELLOTAPE. NOTE THAT TAPE HAS TORN A SMALL PIECE OF THE LAMINATE FROM THE FLIP BACK EDGE TO THE REAR, BUT OVERALL VERY VERY GOOD CONDITION.

 PLAIN WHITE  INNER SLEEVE PRESENT AND IN GOOD CONDITION.
