Description
The Beatles 1966 2nd State Butcher Cover. Stereo!! Back cover lower right has a "5" indicating the Los Angeles pressing plant. The width is slightly shorter than a non paste over version from when the past over was cut. The cover is in excellent shape. There is one small split in the middle of the bottom and a small amount of ring wear. The spine and corners have minimal wear and are in good shape. The black triangle of ringo’s shirt is very hard to see on this one because its still in such good shape. I had to hold it in different light and many angels before i finally could make it out.
Has the original inner sleeve which is ripping along the too and has a piece of tape holing a piece on it. Those are easily replaced though. The vinyl is VG+
Butcher covers in stereo are much harder to come by than ones in mono. So this one in this this condition truly is a collectors dream. Ive owned a couple copies of the butcher cover in mono but this is the only one in stereo I’ve ever had. Its hard to let it go but its time for someone else to enjoy this awesome piece of music history.
