Description
The Beatles original authentic peeled 3rd State mono Butcher Cover of ‘Yesterday And Today’ issued in July of 1966 in The United States. This west coast #6 Lp was a cut out discounted album back in the 1960’s because Capitol Records were phasing out mono LP’s. That is why there is a saw cut on the bottom right corner. Can you believe in the late 1960’s there was hardly any interest in finding a 2nd State ‘Yesterday and Today’ cover with the banned Butcher underneath. The cover has been professionally peeled with only a few touch ups on the top edge. Notice the glue circles on the right side. On this cover you can even see the gap under John’s seat. The seams are in nice shape with only a small 1/2” split on the top right corner. The printing on the spine is there with a bit of flaking wear from the peel. The record is a stereo west coast pressing in lightly played very good + condition. Also included in a 1966 original Capitol Records inner sleeve.
