Description

This is a first edition copy of The Beatles - 1967-1970. A UK1st Press on the Apple label, the matrix numbers are; Side One  YEX 909-4 Side Two   YEX  910 -3 Side Three YEX 911-5 Side Four  YEX  912-1
We have cleaned all four records in our amazing Degritter Ultrasonic cleaner and the vinyl has come up with a wonderful sheen, spotless & glossy with some visible marks - see photos-  but nothing that affects playback.
We have played all sides to test on our own hi-fi system which is very revealing. All records play beautifully with astonishing clarity & sound quality, so vibrant -you would never believe the age! There is occasional noise & a few clicks in places but nothing unusual for the age. The dynamic range is fabulous & leaves modern reissues for dust - this is Abbey Road world class mastering at its best! No issues whatsoever - no jumping or sticking , just wonderful hit after hit.
The laminated gatefold sleeve is similarly in great shape. Very light wear to corners and edges & very clean with no stains, tears or writing.
The original printed lyric inner sleeves are included with the cropped corners that first presses have. There is some wear through in places. We have popped both records into new poly lined anti static sleeves to keep them pristine after cleaning - you will receive both the original & new inner sleeves.
Please see all photos - we have taken lots of pictures in natural daylight so you can see exactly what you are buying- please check all photos as they form part of the description.
We are also auctioning the companion "red" album The Beatles 1962-1966 on another listing so please check my other items for sale. It would be fantastic if these albums could be rehomed together.
Selling loads of other great vintage vinyl titles - more Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley plus other gems and rarities. Always happy to combine postage.
International bidders are welcome from most parts of the world but please message for shipping costs.
