We have for sale an original, UK 1973 pressing of the classic The Beatles 1967-1970 album, The Beatles. Originally released in 1973. This copy was pressed in France but is for the UK market. Labels are in English and French. Inside the gatefold sleeve there is a sticker saying made in France. These pressings where pressed when the pressing plant in the UK was undergoing renovations.

Laminated gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition, minor storage wear to the edges and the odd small spider crease to the laminate (see photos). Spine is in excellent condition, title can be easily read. Both blue inner sleeves have very small splits to the bottom and sides. The cover image is still very clear and sharp, the text is unworn and the colours are vivid. Records have sensational gloss, there is no whitening, there are one or two signs of the records being played but these are very light and does not effect playback. The labels are completely clean with few signs of spindle marks. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment they begin sound exceptionally rich and vibrant with a superb sheen to each record. Labels are in excellent condition with minimal spindle wear. Superb clarity and separation.

Our Vinyl is visually inspected under strong light for marks and imperfections. Any found are described in the additional condition section above or as per the Rare Record Collector grading system. Every one of our records has been tested by ourselves and has been machine cleaned prior to testing. Each record comes with a free an anti static cleaning cloth that is not available in the UK.

Mint (M): Perfect: This record looks like it has just left the manufacturer, with NO flaws what so ever. It looks as though it had never been handled. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains.

Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear to the edges of the sleeve and or creasing.

Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the sleeve and extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.

We also reserve the right to make a complaint to eBay about your conduct. A little communication costs absolutely nothing. We are quite happy to wait for bidding on other items to conclude, but you must tell us if that is what is happening. If you are still bidding please do not pay for anything until you have finished, and we have worked out the combined p&p price. This is important as it costs more in fees if items are paid for individually.

Returns are not accepted for auction items unless there has been an error in the listing by us. Returns are at buyers cost unless there has been an error in the listing. Any items for return must be advised within 14 days and must be returned in exactly the same condition as they were when dispatched. If any attempt has been made to modify or repair the item without authorisation then the return will not be accepted.

Please contact us before leaving low DSR marks, no one wants them and we certainly do not set out to achieve them. We are all human and we all make mistakes from time to time, however we cannot rectify any mistake if we do not know about them.
