DETAILS:
Original 1967 UK first pressing 13-track stereo vinyl LP with 'Gramophone Co' & 'Sold In The UK' label credits, complete with intact sheet of cut-outs and red inner sleeve.
GRADING:
Cover - Very Good Plus
Garrod & Lofthouse internal flipback, laminated picture sleeve
Gatefold sleeve is clean and bright.
Light handling wear to sleeve entrance.
Top and bottom seam are sharp and clean.
Flipbacks inside the gatefold sleeve are clean and bright with one very small red mark on the rear top flipback.
Slight laminate creasing on the back sleeve with a small laminate tear near the top right hand corner.
Some wear and creasing to the spine. It looks that some of the laminate has worn away around the title text downwards. Noticeable but still looks quite tidy. Looks like the album may have been stored on the spine.
Complete set of cutouts in excellent plus condition.
Red inner sleeve in excellent condition with just a little creasing.
Record - Excellent
Matrix numbers are XEX 637-1 and XEX 638-1.
2 PG and 1 PO stampers.
'KT' tax code visible on side 1 label.
'Gramophone Co' & 'Sold In The UK' label credits.
A little storage scuffing and hairline marking.
Labels and vinyl generally look very clean.
Plays exceptionally well with occasional and light background noise.
Summary
Really nice complete 1st press stereo example with cutouts and red inner sleeve. Not perfect but the blemishes are fairly minor. Looks and plays very nicely.
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
