Description
Here is a pair of RARE vintage CANADIAN Beatles albums from my collection offered up for sale/auction: "Twist And Shout", this is an original vintage pressing with color band labels! Released in 1964 by Capitol records . This was the second Beatles album released in Canada, a "Canada only Mono" issue from February 1964, released at the same time as the first Capitol album was released in the USA (Meet The Beatles). The songs are all the tracks that were released on the Vee Jay label in the US, including the two tracks that were deleted from the second Vee Jay pressing, "Love Me Do" and "She Loves You". The heavy weight record grades VG, is clean and still has gloss, has numerous marks on both sides, most of them are light. Has been PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, no skips, no jumps, a very enjoyable listen! The cover rates VG/VG+, cover has deep color, has edge/corner wear but all are solid, top and bottom seams have been neatly repaired, has white out in the corner, age discoloration. The back has writing and a faint spot water mark near top seam. (see photos).
PLUS: The "Canada only Mono" pressing of "Long Tall Sally", this is a vintage circa 1970's pressing! The record grades VG+, is clean and glossy, has a couple of marks but looks well cared for! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, no skips, no jumps, a very enjoyable listen! The cover rates VG/VG+, has deep color, has edge/corner wear but all are solid, binder edge is readable, top seam has been neatly repaired, has age discoloration, top corner has sticker shadow/marks. The back has tiny tear to slick at opening edge (see "Beatlemania"), (see photos). There is NO RESERVE PRICE!
